The NSERC Discovery Grants program aims to promote and maintain a diversified base of high-quality research capability in the natural sciences and engineering in Canadian universities; foster research excellence; and provide a stimulating environment for research training.

 

The McMaster Research Office for Administration, Development & Support (ROADS) is hosting this information session featuring,

 

       •   Kristina Archibald, Program Officer for Civil, Industrial and Systems Engineering, who will present an overview of the    Discovery Grants program and the application process via videoconference. 

 

      •   Evaluation Group members, Dr. Yingfu Li (Genes, Cells, and Molecules) and Dr. Eduard Reinhardt (Geosciences), who will share their experiences with the grant review process and offer guidance to potential applicants. 

 

 

If you have specific questions about the Discovery Grants program that you would like NSERC and/or the Evaluation Group members to address during the information session, please note them on the registration form.
