SSHRC Insight Development Grants WEBINARS

SSHRC will be holding three webinars on the upcoming Insight Development Grants 2014 competition and the changes to the application portal, including the SSHRC Canadian Common CV.  This is for applicants and research administrators.  You do not need to register in advance.

 

The webinars will be held on Thursday, December 5th and Friday,  December 6th at the following times:

 

In English:

Thursday, Dec 5th, 13:30-15:30 EST and

Friday, Dec 6th, 13:30-15:30 EST



In French:
Thursday, Dec 5th,
10:00-12:00 EST

 

The webinars will be held via Adobe Connect (for the visual presentation and written questions only) and teleconference (for the sound).

Application process:

If you intend to apply, please contact the Research Office for Administration, Development and Support (ROADS), Pamela McIntyre, Senior Advisor, Development, at mcintyp@mcmaster.ca or extension 23713 by December 16.

 

The initial draft of the application is due to ROADS by 5pm on January 6, 2014

 

The final draft, and a completed and signed Application Approval Form, are due to ROADS by 5pm January 23, 2014. Please note, applications received after this deadline may not receive a full review.

 

Applications will be forwarded by ROADS to SSHRC by 5pm on February 3, 2014.

 


**Please note that the 2014 IDG competition will use the new SSHRC Grants Management System and all applicants and team members must upload a Common CV.  Please see instructions at the link under “more information” below.  Due to this change, we strongly recommend applicants and team members start the online application and Common CV as soon as possible. 
Information in any previously created SSHRC online CV will not be transferred to the Common CV module.
