SSHRC Knowledge Synthesis Grants
Knowledge Synthesis Grants are not intended to support original research. Rather, they are intended to support the synthesis of existing research knowledge and the identification of knowledge gaps.
The purpose of this funding opportunity is to support researchers, teams of researchers and knowledge users to produce knowledge syntheses and scoping reviews that will contribute to the use of synthesized evidence in decision-making and practice.
The maximum value of a Knowledge Synthesis Grant is $25,000 over 6 months. The minimum request required is $7,000.
Knowledge Synthesis Grant competitions tend to be held every two years. The next competition will likely occur in 2017.
